WWE Performance Center To Begin Training Entrance Pose Choreographers
In addition the their existing programs training in-ring performers and production staff, WWE has announced that the Performance Center will also begin to train choreographers for the poses wrestlers do at the top of the ramp during their ring entrances.
“Entrance poses are obviously a huge part of a sports entertainer’s persona,” said WWE Executive Vice President of Television Production Kevin Dunn, “so it became clear that we would expand our program and begin to recruit enthusiastic, talented young minds that want to utilize their creativity to enhance this highly marketable piece of our overall product.”
Given the success the Performance Center has enjoyed since its grand opening in July of 2013, WWE spent much of 2014 considering other areas to include in their program. Entrance pose choreography was far and away the most popular choice take under consideration, far outdistancing other options like creative writing and customer satisfaction management.
